Aquaspersions Limited was established in 1974 as a manufacturer of high-quality, water-based additives, for the polymer latex, paints and adhesive industries. Since our formation, we have confirmed ourselves as a world-leader in the manufacture of aqueous colloidal dispersions and emulsions.

The Headquarters of Aquaspersions are located at a new multi-million pound, purpose built manufacturing facility in Halifax, England. Our Malaysian manufacturing facility based outside Kuala Lumpur in the state of Selangor, also offers a wide product portfolio to locally serve South East Asia and the Pacific rim countries.

Aquaspersions specialise in being able to disperse or emulsify powders or oily liquids to produce water-based products, which can be more easily handled in our customer’s processes.

Perhaps the most extensive of our product ranges is the water-based antioxidant preparations, sold under the Aquanox ™ name. These products provide protection to unsaturated polymers against harmful degradation by oxygen. Many ozone, UV and metal-ion resistant preparations are also available. They have been tailored to suit a wide variety of polymer applications and the range is constantly being developed to meet the changing market needs.

Complimenting this, Aquaspersions also manufacture a comprehensive range of principle and auxiliary polymer additives in aqueous-form, including vulcanising agents, (e.g. accelerators), pigments, flame-retardants and emulsified tackifying resins, crosslinkers, as well as a proprietary range of latex-foam enhancing products for the film and television industries.

Finally, we have recently developed the ability to disperse polymers into water, using only surfactant and without any organic solvents. We are now producing commercially and have a growing range of such dispersions which are suitable for use in adhesives and coatings applications.

We are happy to tailor existing formulations or to develop new dispersion and emulsion products for all market areas in order to meet our customers’ requirements.
